ASMS SFS530 is a roadbase suited to unsealed applications.

SFS530 is used in a variety of unsealed applications, including:

  • Road Shoulder

COMPOSITION AND MATERIALS

SFS530 is produced from steel slag by crushing, screening and processing to remove metals resulting in a 20mm minus steel slag roadbase. Steel furnace slag is a non-metallic product consisting essentially of calcium silicates with fused oxides of iron and aluminium. The material is produced simultaneously with steel in a basic oxygen furnace and is a predominantly crystalline, solid rock-like product.
