ASMS have established Blast Furnace Slag products for Roadbases. However, the use of Steel Furnace Slag fines has to date been limited to Asphalt sand and as a general fill.
Steel Slag fines have number of application such as Asphalt sand, sub base layer and engineering fill. Tallawarra Power Station at Albion Park required; upgrade, in particular, fill to match surrounding levels.
