Blast Furnace Slag Unspecified Fill |

Blast furnace slag is the non-metallic
material consisting essentially of silicates
and aluminosilicates of calcium and other
bases, that is developed in a molten
condition simultaneously with iron in a
blast furnace.
Air-cooled blast furnace slag is a
predominantly crystalline, solid rock-like
material.
Air-cooled slag is dug from the furnace
and stockpiled. Product includes out of
specification roadbases and floor
scalping. May contain lumps up to 500
mm size.
